Director's Cut is not a patch for the main game - it's a separate project. The basis of the version was the transition to the Unity 5 engine and the rejection of Unity 4.5, so Wasteland 2 introduced fresh visual effects, improved character models, physics-based shaders, updated environment objects, and realistic shading and lighting models. New scoring, an improved system of setting the characters thanks to new perks and individual features (Quirks), as well as a few altered combat mechanics. Wasteland 2 - post-apocalyptic role-playing game continues the history of the first part created back in 1988. This game is developed on the Unity engine with the preservation of the isometric view and the game process itself. The game develops around 4 rangers, who were saved after the disaster and are now trying to survive in the middle of the desert in a circle of terrible monsters. All the actions that you will take during the game will influence its further development.
