The Long Dark is a hardcore survival simulator in the boundless forests of Northern Canada! You will play for a pilot named Wil Mackenzie, whose plane crashed after a mystical geomagnetic storm. Your main task will be to survive as Long as possible to find out what happened to the world and how it changed? Explore the area, gather resources and explore the world around you. Also, you have to make various moral decisions that will influence the development of the plot, the gameplay and the future fate of mankind as a whole. Imagine that the lights went out forever. The version of The Long Dark in early access consists of a non-existent survival mode in the open world. The game will come out of early access as soon as we release the 1st episode of our story mode. All episodes of the first season are already included in the cost of the version in early access.
